What is Kalavanam?
Kalāvanam is a space for exploration of art, nature and ecology, rooted in J. Krishnamurti’s teachings of freedom through learning from direct experience. Drawing from indigenous knowledge systems and inspired by nature’s regenerative abilities, Kalāvanam fosters creativity, collaboration, and dialogue across the arts, sciences, and humanities. It invites individuals of all ages to engage deeply, live sustainably, and explore themselves beyond the boundaries of conventional education—nurturing innovation, reflection, and a way of being that is both grounded and spontaneous.
